My name is Justin Anderson, and I have known Windy Cole for many years through our membership at Grace Lutheran Church of Rock Hill. I’ve interacted with Windy both at church, the museums, and in the community long before her service to the Rock Hill School Board, and her interest, dedication, and love for children has always been an obvious and welcoming characteristic of hers. I think one of her greatest joys is taking pictures to document the fun our kids at church have at their various events, and then sharing them with their families and the rest of the congregation.
Windy has known my son his whole life. Carter is now in the 4th grade at Independence Elementary. Through her relationship with Carter, especially these last 8 years that Windy has served on the School Board, her dedication to the children of our community has been made even more apparent to me. I believe the highlight of Windy’s church day is being able to communicate with the kids between our services. She knows what schools they attend and who their teachers are. She wants to know how they like class, what they are studying, and what they like best about their school. She gets updates on testing and field trips, and even asks if they have any problems or can think of any changes they would want to see at their schools.
Windy is always willing to listen to questions me or my wife may have about things happening in the school district that we don’t understand. From Covid, to school security, calendar changes to the evolving curriculum, when we bring her questions she listens with concern, and provides or seeks answers for us. I know she takes all that she sees and hears from the kids and the parents with her to the School Board, and it is her love and dedication to our children that are first in mind as she performs her service to our School District. I hope she continues to serve on the Board and will support and vote for her representation of District Five.

— Judy MobleyWindy was a tremendous asset as an involved parent at Rock Hill High School when I worked there. She had a true heart for students and teachers then and continues to do so now as a Board member. I support her in this race.

I wholeheartedly endorse Windy Cole in her candidacy for the Rock Hill School Board. I had the privilege of meeting Windy after I relocated to York County, and I was so impressed with her dedication to community endeavors. Her devoted advocacy for children energized me to become involved in several community efforts. She is indeed an inspirational leader for Rock Hill.

Rock Hill friends who vote, make sure you make your voices heard! We all know that local elections may not be as exciting as national ones, but they impact our lives just as much, if not more. I personally urge all voters to choose Windy Cole for Rock Hill School Board as their school board member. A true leader, she puts the needs of parents, students, and teachers first. With 27 years of experience in the district, I can confidently say that Windy is a dedicated school board member who genuinely cares about education. She continually engages with schools, staying up to date on district developments. Her commitment makes her one of the best school board members I've had the pleasure of working with. She is an asset to our community, and we need more leaders like her!

I’ve volunteered at the Museum of York County for the last 2 and a half years with Windy Cole as the Volunteer Resource Manager. During that time, I’ve had the opportunity to get to know Windy. It is my pleasure and honor to confidently say that she is the best person to represent District 5 on the Rock Hill School Board. I am currently a senior at South Pointe High School, so I am directly impacted by the district and the decisions of the school board. More than anything else, Windy is one of the most kind and genuine people I know. Every time I see her, she makes sure to ask about how school is going for me and my peers and if there is any way she can help me or others. Specifically, she wants to know what issues I’m having at school and if any action needs to be taken to ensure that it is a safe and healthy learning environment for every student. During the 2022/23 school year when South Pointe was facing a serious teacher shortage, Windy made a point to always ask about the status of the shortage and advocate for myself and other students affected. She has proven time and time again to care about the education and safety of Rock Hill students above all else, a quality that we desperately need in our School Board.

Wish I lived in the area of Rock Hill, so I could vote for Windy Cole for Rock Hill School District Trustee. I know her in a number of capacities thru the Museums Of York County and attending the same church. I love her sense of fairness, her ability to light up a room when she walks in and the many ways she helps others. Working for all Rock Hill students every day is her strong suit. I even once got to help her with a summer program in an elementary school when I accompanied her wearing a dinosaur costume. Windy Cole will work for all students no matter their background, social status or how their parents vote. As a retired educator, I am aware of many of the difficulties facing young people today. I would want Windy Cole in office to have their best interests in place. Please vote for her if she is on your ballot. You will never regret that decision.
